You’ll be part of a high-performing IT and delivery team working with Iress Acurity, one of Australia’s most widely used superannuation administration platforms.


The Role

As an Acurity Developer, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and support of Acurity-based applications, integrations, and enhancements.
You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and superannuation subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions that improve efficiency and member experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, configure and maintain the Iress Acurity platform, including customisations and system enhancements

  • Design and build integrations and interfaces between Acurity and other enterprise systems (CRM, finance, data warehouse, etc.)

  • Create and optimise database queries, stored procedures, and scripts using Oracle SQL

  • Support system upgrades, patching, and releases in partnership with Iress and internal teams

  • Work with stakeholders to analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the Acurity ecosystem

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives


Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong technical knowledge of Acurity along with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Essential skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Acurity Developer (or similar technical role)

  • Proficiency with Acurity Studio and configuration tools

  • Solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database design

  • Experience with .NET, C#, or Java for integrations or scripting

  • Background in superannuation or financial services systems

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively within agile and collaborative team environments

Desirable:

  • Experience with API development, ETL tools, or middleware integrations

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS)

  • Knowledge of superannuation legislation and regulatory reporting
