About the Role
We’re partnering with a major utilities organisation in Hobart that is embarking on an enterprise-wide project to uplift how work is planned and delivered across the business. This initiative spans all types of work, from IT projects to construction and infrastructure, asset maintenance, replacement, and facilities, making it a truly strategic role with enterprise visibility.
As the Project Manager, you’ll oversee delivery of this transformation, mapping milestones, managing interdependencies, and ensuring effective reporting and governance. You’ll coordinate with senior sponsors across finance, strategy, operations, and the EPMO, while working closely with Change and Business Analysts to embed new processes and ways of working across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of a single, large-scale project to improve how projects and programs are planned and delivered enterprise-wide.

Manage timelines, milestones, interdependencies, and risk reporting to steering committees and sponsors.

Coordinate input from senior stakeholders across multiple portfolios to ensure adoption of new processes and reporting frameworks.

Collaborate with the Change Manager and Business/System Analyst to ensure communications and process adoption succeed.
Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated experience delivering large, enterprise IT projects with broad organisational impact.

Proven ability to drive outcomes in complex stakeholder environments, with strong communication and influencing skills.

Experience working within or alongside an EPMO.

Utilities or electricity network experience (highly regarded, not essential).

Capability to manage both capex and opex project delivery.
