Our client is one of Australia's largest logistics and supply chain companies.  They provide end to end logistics solutions across a wide range of industries and invest heavily in automation, data analytics and sustainability. 

They are currently looking for an IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Specialist to join their team.  The platform supports group finance, fleet and procurement teams. You will report into Corporate Solutions Systems Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics Cloud (TM1), including PAW and PAFe.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
  • Produce technical documentation, specs, and test plans.
  • Manage data flows and system interfaces.
  • Lead unit testing and validate system changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and security protocols.
  • Provide first and second-level support for TM1 systems

You will have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) modelling, development and administration.
  • Advanced certification in IBM Planning Analytics – including Design, Advanced Modelling, Development, and Administration.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with data integrations and APIs connecting to IBM Planning Analytics.
  • High-level documentation skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Software Development, or Information Technology (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Adaptable and solutions-focused with strong time management.
  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple business units simultaneously.
