Senior Business Analyst
Help drive clarity, structure, and improvement across one of Australia’s fastest-growing construction organisations.

  • 12-Month Fixed Term | Melbourne-Based | Onsite
  • Rapid Growth Environment | Business Process Mapping | High-Impact Projects
  • Strong Potential to Extend or Go Permanent

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading player in Australia’s construction sector, known for delivering high-profile commercial projects and consistently rated as a top place to work, to appoint a Senior Business Analyst for a key transformation role.

With rapid growth in recent years and a wave of projects in the pipeline, the business is investing heavily in operational clarity, process improvement, and digital transformation (including early AI initiatives). This is an ideal role for a senior BA who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments and wants to make a real impact from day one. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Business Analyst to create a role around themselves and develop their career further.

The Role
This role sits at the heart of a growing change function, focused on mapping current-state processes, engaging with stakeholders, and streamlining operations across departments. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of how the business operates while contributing to strategic initiatives in flight and supporting broader capability uplift within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Conduct deep-dive process mapping, gap analysis, and heavy data gathering to understand current operations
  • Engage a wide range of stakeholders to gather requirements and identify improvement opportunities
  • Triage priorities in a high-growth environment with lots of moving parts
  • Translate business needs into actionable documentation for project and technical teams
  • Support emerging digital and AI-focused initiatives where required
  • Contribute to team development through informal leadership, collaboration, and knowledge sharing

About You
You’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, ideally across multiple industries or fast-paced environments
  • A strong track record in stakeholder engagement, data gathering, process mapping, and business improvement
  • Confidence working across multiple business functions in a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Previous experience in construction or project-driven industries (highly regarded)
  • The ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities and push through resistance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – you can influence, explain, and document with ease
  • A calm, proactive, and structured approach to delivery
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in supporting the growth of those around you

What’s On Offer

  • 12-month fixed term contract with strong potential to extend or transition to permanent
  • Work onsite with a dynamic, forward-thinking construction group in Melbourne
  • Hybrid working after 6 months
  • High-visibility role with access to senior leadership and project teams
  • Exposure to a broad range of strategic and operational projects
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth team culture with a strong appetite for continuous improvement
